Examination and Evolution
The direction of my artwork has been changing dramatically throughout the 2013 year. Most of those changes have been taking place over at my Dark Art blog, Zombie Bites. Trail of Breadcrumbs has remained fallow during much of that time with only minimal posting.

From the Archives: Revelations
Although there is upwards of five to seven years between these two pieces, I am posting them together. The piece with the ball was created first and the second piece with the spiral was created in contemplation of the first. My original thought with these was an animation sequence. However animation has never had quite the pull for me so they remain these static images.

This will be the last From the Archives post for awhile. I'm restructuring My blogs and trying to determine the best place to post my different kinds of artwork.

From the Archives: Her Hair
This was a graphite sketch I did from an image of Anna Paquin. I think it was in an issue of Rolling Stone or some such. I do not recall. I altered the hair a bit. I think at the time I was imagining her as the base for a super heroine who had some kind of tentacled shadow power that usually manifested in her hair.

From the Archives: Superhero Cape Study
A quick superhero cape study from my traveling sketchbook. I probably did this one at work on lunch break or some such. Regardless of Edna Mode's warnings, if I could fly, I'd wear a cape because it would look so friggin' cool.{8x5.33, Ball Point Pen}
