I began creating Mandalas in the mid 1990's by hand with Sharpies and colored pencils. At that time, I had come into possession of a stack of nearly square scrap cardstock that I used to visually explore mandalas upon. I am no longer in possession of many of the mandalas I created during that time. I gave them away to anyone who was interested. In the late 1990's I discovered Adobe Photoshop and began doing my Mandalas digitally. Needless to say it has been a love affair of layering ever since.
When I began Trail of Breadcrumbs Mandalas were a perfect fit for the artistic direction I wanted to pursue with the blog. In July of 2011 I began creating a Mandala once a week as an image of meditation and exploration. Since I'd been creating mandalas some time before that, this gallery also includes all the other mandalas I have posted.
Below is an evolving gallery of the Mandalas I have posted on Trail of Breadcrumbs. Each one links to its original post. These aren't all of the Mandalas I've posted, but I will continue to update this page as often as possible. Enjoy!
