Coronation of the Butterfly

Understanding,
the shunned bastard child of Doubt,
yields first fruit.
Long tread paths
lead to a homecoming
and after tribulations,
the self anoints self with light.

She steps onto the light path,
this transparent world of mirrored glass.
The shell of what wasn't,
yesterday collapses around her.
 
Waves of blue flame turn her desert to oasis
as Revelation spreads her wings.
