From the Sketchbook Archives: Dream Sigils

I had a very intense dream involving these two pieces of what I am calling dream sigils.

The first image was as though I were looking down on a black tetrahedron.  It was floating in the air with one of its points facing me.  The background beyond it was a stormy sky filled with black boiling clouds.  Between me and the tetrahedron were three swirling balls of light that had small tails like tadpoles or the white have a yin yang symbol.  They were spinning so quickly they looked like electricity.  The whole image had the quality of a strobe light or a broken fluorescent light: a slight, but visible oscillation.  The balls of energy seemed to be anchored to a nearly invisible wire that was in the shape of trefoil knot.  Which literally JUST hit me that that is representative of the Valknut - that makes the second image a little clearer in meaning.

Festival of Orgone 2012: June 20th-July 4th

Please join me at Trail of Breadcrumbs, beginning on the Northern Hemisphere's Summer Solstice, for the two week event I am calling the Festival of Orgone!  Everyday on and between the Summer Solstice and U.S. Independence Day this year I will be posting a new Orgone inspired piece of artwork.  With each piece I will be posting information about Orgone and other universal energies.  Below are a few of my previous pieces based on Orgone energy.

COMING SOON: The Festival of Orgone

At the end of of June 2012, I will be hosting an online art festival here on Trail of Breadcrumbs.  I've done some work in the past that has been an indicator of some of the style of work I will be displaying: the Janus Chariot, Blue Flame, and Collapsing the Waveform.  My working title for the event is The Festival of Orgone.  I will have more details available before the end of May and I will post a definite time frame for the festivities with more detailed information.  Please come check it out!

I swear I had posted this piece already, but I have scoured the archives here and cannot find it.  Ugh.  This is a portrait of a character from a comic strip I did in college, but in this image she is much more fabulous: The Fierce and Beautiful Madame O.
